Interior furniture line for the “Louvre d’Abu Dhabi”

2017- Designed in collaboration with Jean Nouvel Design, Hala Wardé, Sabrina Letourneur and the interior design team

LAD Line, is a furniture system offering different seating positions for public and VIP spaces. From the original idea of Jean Nouvel I worked together with him and the interior design team to create and develop the line. The inspiration was the back seats of old american cars, comfortable, shared and iconic. The vertical leather stripes were the main element that built the concept. We wanted them as thin as possible to fit the elegance and the richness of the dome and the repetition of them is offering an extendable and limitless seating system. As for the single booth, it is built in elements of 1m long that can be connected with others, with armrests in between or not depending on the room and the needs. The sofa is a single piece, designed especially for VIP rooms.
